The air shower clean bench is a workbench designed to ensure that the top of the bench is clean. It is constructed with a clean box unit on top of the bench. That are box-shaped enclosures that consist of a bench and walls on the front, top, and both sides. Workers place their hands inside the enclosure to perform work. Air pulled in from the outside is filtered to remove dirt and dust, and then the clean air is sent inside the bench.
There are two types of air shower clean benches: a horizontal blower type that blows air forward from the front surface, and a vertical blower type that blows air downward from the top surface. In the case of horizontal blowers, the air might collect around the worker's arms or the equipment, preventing a sufficient level of cleanliness.

Advantages Of FFU
Flexible and easy to replace and install
FFU has its own power. It is also self-contained and modular, and the matching flter is easy to replace, so it is not restricted by the area. In the cleanroom, it can be controlled according to the needs and replaced and moved as needed.
Negative pressure ventilation
Since FFU can provide static pressure, the cleanroom has a positive pressure relative to the outside, so that external particles will not be leaked into the clean area, making the seal simple and safe.
Short installation period
Using FFU eliminates the production and installation of air ducts and shortens the construction period.
Small operating costs
Although the initial investment is higher than the use of air ducts when selecting FFU, it has outstanding features such as energy- saving and maintenance-free in the later operation.
Space-saving
Compared with other systems, the FFU system occupies less floor height in the air supply static pressure box and basically does not occupy cleanroom space.
FFU Applications
FFU, sometimes also called laminar flow hood, can be connected and used in a modular manner and is widely used in clean room, clean work bench, clean production lines, assembled clean room and laminar flow clean room.
FFU is equipped with primary and HEPA two-stage filters. The fan sucks the air from the top of the fan filter unit and filters it through the primary and HEPA filters.
