For example, a filter with a test dust capacity of 600g may contain 2.5kg of atmospheric dust in actual use; The other one has a dust capacity of 900g, and in your hand, it may only be able to hold 1.5kg of dust. Only when the test conditions are the same as the test dust can one evaluate which filter has a longer lifespan than the other based on the dust capacity data.
Professional laboratories and filter factories conduct destructive dust generation tests on filters and filter cotton when evaluating general ventilation filter products. The purpose is to evaluate the average efficiency of filters throughout the entire test process according to relevant test standards, and the dust capacity is one of the data obtained from such tests. Testers can use a large amount of historical data to compare the advantages and disadvantages of filters. If the experimental conditions are the same, data from different laboratories can be compared. It is difficult for outsiders to understand the practical significance of dust volume data.
